Na zawsze w naszej pamięci–o Wujku Józiu

Wujek Józio, mój ojciec chrzestny, był największym fanem moich ręcznie robionych kartek. Kolekcjonował je wszystkie, a ja regularnie w każde Święta, najładniejsze kartki słałam do wujka, z odręcznie wypisanymi życzeniami, co również ogromnie cenił. Wujek Józio odszedł w marcu tego roku i bardzo nam wszystkim go brakuje. Chciałam zrobić dla siebie pamiątkę- pożegnanie, ze zdjęciem, które zrobiła wujkowi moja siostra w restauracji Śląska Prohibicja.

Uncle Józio, my godfather, was the biggest fan of my handmade cards. He collected them all, and I regularly sent the most beautiful cards to him every Christmas and Easter, with handwritten wishes, which he also greatly appreciated. Uncle Józio passed away in March of this year, and we all miss him very much. I wanted to make a keepsake for myself, a farewell, with a photo, which my sister took in the Silesian Prohibition restaurant.

I used the "Forever in Our Memory" die cut set from Amazing Paper Grace’s "Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes" collection. The collection also includes a "Petite Floral Potpourri" set with a variety of small flowers and leaves.

Ostatnio brałam udział w wymianie Artist Trading Cards, której tematem były emocje. Swoje karty wykonałam używając pięknego wykrojnika z nowej kolekcji Amazing Paper Grace "Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection" – Happy Anniversary S5-458. Wykrojnik jest wyjątkowo duży i dekoracyjny, więc wykorzystałam jedynie fragment pięknej wycinanki, ze słowem "Happy". Tło na kartach wykonałam z drobnych wycinanek z zestawu Petite Floral Potpourri S3-420.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć zestawy, które wykorzystałam w mojej pracy.

I recently participated in an Artist Trading Cards exchange with a theme of emotions. I made my cards using a beautiful die cut from Amazing Paper Grace’s new "Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection" – The Happy Anniversary S5-458 die-cut is extra large and decorative so I only used a piece of the beautiful cut-out with the word "Happy". The background on the cards is made of tiny cut-outs from Petite Floral Potpourri set S3-420.

The Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection is made up of 7 different die sets and a stamp set. Most sets contain a sentiment and a filigree background layer. Each set makes it quite easy to produce a complete card. The bonus is the sentiment shapes each match an existing 3D Vignette. Along with being able to complete a card, the new sentiments will allow another sentiment to existing 3D Vignettes already in your stash. Romantic Chargeour works with all the sentiments.

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection also contains an "inside" sentiment set that matches the thought on the outside of the card. To top off the collection we’ve included Petite Floral Potpourri. It’s a compilation of all the small flowers and leaves that are most requested by our community.

My Projects for Today

Here is my card made using Bless Your Heart Vignette Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca FeekenS5-459. I went for a mixture of dark paper colors (purple and navy) with a mirror gold cardstock sentiment to make a statement and add to elegance. Trying not to overload it, I added just few simple small flowers and leave branches cut out using Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken S3-420.
There is a stamp set included in this collection and it is perfect for adding some thoughtful message inside the card: Beautiful Inside and Out Sentiments Clear Stamp from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken STP-058.

My second project is 3D card (which folds flat and can be fitten in an envelope) made using the older dies – Shapeabilities Grand Cabinet 3D Card Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes by Becca Feeken S6-139. Beautiful sentiment goes with it perfectly and gives it a new life :) Again, I used a mirror gold cardstock to make it more elegant.
